Our Story
40 Years of Waterway Expertise
Founded in 1986, formally known as Lake Services, we have provided quality dredging to the Mid-Atlantic. During that 30+ year history, our processes and purpose-built equipment have been refined to provide unparalleled, high-value, mobile dredging solutions for projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and adjoining states.

Our Capabilities
What We Do
Mechanical Dredging
Mechanical dredging has the distinct advantage of removing primarily dense solids (generally 75–85% solids) from the water bottom, allowing the dredge spoil to be readily trucked or barged to a local or more distant disposal site.
Hydraulic Dredging
Hydraulic dredging requires the material to be mixed into a highly liquid slurry to be pumped. The slurry (10–15% solids) is pumped through pipes to a purpose-built containment area to dewater — ideally within ½ mile of the dredge site to maximize pumping efficiency.
Long Reach & Low Draft
We make the inaccessible accessible.
Our 28′ wide low draft Rig Barges, Long Front Excavators (60′ reach), and 14′ wide material barges let us dredge remote and shallow areas inaccessible to most dredge companies. Boat slips, narrow canals, and channels are easily handled.
Minimal Footprint
Low impact, professional result.
Our 60′ reach Long Front Offloading Excavators transfer dredge material from barges to sealed dump trucks for mess-free transportation. Our many repeat customers from waterfront housing developments, HOAs, and municipalities reflect our cleanliness and low-impact processes.
