The disposal site area was mapped using precision drone technology and the disposal pit was built on-site.
In December 2023, Lake Services was contracted by Daniel's Point POA to mechanically dredge approximately 5000 cubic yards of the existing channel that had filled in over the years.
Due to the extreme low water conditions, a temporary barge channel was put into place to transport sediment to the off-load site and an Amphibious Excavator was brought in.
